29th December 1918 - Pershore Women's Institute annual Christmas party

War Front:

2nd Batt: There was no church parade but a voluntary service was held at 1000 hours.

4th Batt: W, X and Z Coys were allotted the baths for 1 1/2 hours each. Y Coy attended Church Parade.

14th Batt: At 0930 hours the was Divine Service under the CO.

Home Front:

Pershore Women's Institute held their annual Christmas party in the last week when about 180 members and their friends were present. Tea was partaken of first and then a very good programme of songs, duologues and recitations were given. The blouse competition was judged by Mrs C Humphreys and the first prize taken by Mrs Chapman.
