7th December 1918 - Number of patients admitted to Worcester Infirmary

War Front:

1st Batt: HM the King visited Tournai and a Guard of Honour was provided by the Batt.

2nd Batt: All Coys had use of the baths at Clary. The CO inspected all Coys. The men were preparing to march to a new area. 2Lt Ashworth joined the Batt for duty.

4th Batt: The Batt marched 34 kms to Simmerath, halting at 12.30 hours for tea ration.

14th Batt: C Coy had baths. One platoon of A Coy still working on craters. There was a Coy kit inspection.

Home Front:

Worcester Infirmary Week ending 7 December – Patients admitted: 15, Discharged: 17. In the House – Men 16, Women 26, Children 26, Wounded Soldiers 44, Other classes of patient 5 Total 111.
