26th December 1918 - Thirty homes to be erected at Cropthorne

War Front:

2nd Batt: A Coy had use of the baths am and B Coy had baths pm.

4th Batt: W Coy relieved the 2 platoons of Z Coy on the outposts.

14th Batt: There was Batt sports all day and a concert was held at night.

Home Front:

The Chairman of Pershore Council has stated that at a parish meeting a resolution was carried in favour of thirty homes being erected at Cropthorne and that a new scheme for thirty houses be applied for. The Cropthorne Parish Council also held a meeting and carried a resolution asking for a scheme for six houses. The Chairman of the parish meeting Mr Cole said those were the feelings of the meeting not his own.
