Home Front:

The 2nd and 3rd Battalion Colours will be handed over to Colour Parties which will arrive in Worcester from France on Friday. It is hoped that a parade will be arranged and march past the Lord Lieutenant on the steps of the Shirehall. The ceremony will remind everyone of the doings of the 2nd Battalion at Gheluvelt and the 3rd Battalion which made such a name in musketry. The fact that the ceremony will take place in daylight will give the inhabitants of the county and city an opportunity of showing their appreciation of the doings of the Worcestershire Regiment in the Great War.
