Whist Drive: To aid a fund in connection with their Orphanage, the Worcester Buffaloes organised and held in the Co-operative Hall on Thursday evening, a very successful whist drive. There was a large attendance, and it was a matter of regret to the Committee that they could not accommodate all those who held tickets and as many as possible of those who desired to pay at the door. As it was, there were 256 players, all of whom seemed to spend a very happy time. There were 12 prizes offered. In addition, a competition for a box of cigars realised £3. 5s.
