Vigil - as the lights go out
4th August 2014 at Brinton Park
People are invited to gather at the bandstand in Brinton Park, Kidderminster for a short act of worship and remembrance organised by Churches Together in Kidderminster. Candles will be distributed and lit.
At 11pm (the time when war was declared) the candles will be extinguished as a remembrance of Sir Edward Grey's words - "The lights are going out all over Europe." He was Foreign Secretary.
