Woodbine Willie Exhibition as part of Heritage Open Days
1st September 2017
Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture bringing together over 2,500 organisations, 5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers.
Every year for four days in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history.
As part of the festival you can see our Woodbine Willie Exhibition at St Martin in The Cornmarket on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September.
Reverend Geoffrey Anketell Studdert Kennedy remains one of Worcester's most noted citizens. Affectionately nicknamed Woodbine Willie, this exhibition tells the story of this remarkable man and his impact on all who came into contact with him.
