Home Front Legacy Workshop Saturday 27 February 10am-12.30pm

5th February 2016

Find out how you can help with the project to record the WWI legacy around us in this workshop run by Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service and Worcestershire World War 100.

Home Front Legacy is a national project run by the Council for British Archaeology which supports community groups and individuals to research local places associated with the Great War and record the remains of surviving sites, structures and buildings around Britain. Participants will be able to find out more about the project and learn how to collect and submit data that will be added to the local Historic Environment Record and National Monuments Records to add to our knowledge and inform future protection for sites

You do not need to be an archaeologist or have experience of fieldwork to take part. You may have an interest in the Home Front, and be researching your family or local area, or involved in a First World War Centenary project.

The workshop will take place on level 2, The Hive, Worcester WR1 3PD

Places are free, but limited, book your place here
