17th November 1918 - Special service of thanksgiving for victory and the cessation of hostilities

War Front:
1st Batt: Batt billeted at Tournai. Time was devoted to general cleaning and smartening up ready for Ceremonial Parades. Six officers and 4 ORs joined the Batt.
2nd Batt: Batt to remain at Clary until the end of the month.
4th Batt: At 1145 hours the Batt marched to L`Ecole Communale for Divine Service. Lts JH Gurney, AH Brown and 2Lts TP Guy, GW Wright and WGA Collier joined the Batt for duty.
14th Batt: Divine Service was held at 0930 hours. The Batt was represented in a special service of thanksgiving for victory and the cessation of hostilities. This was held by the civilians in the church at Harmignies.
