INSTEAD OF SUGAR USE CHYMOL – Many are the occasions on which this wonderfully concentrated food will save your sugar and do far more good. For instance, it will sweeten the children’s milk and ensure that they fully digest it. On bread or biscuits, it will serve for jam and its pure, strengthening nourishment will build up vigour of mind and body. Its price has not gone up.

THE TRIBUNALS – WORCESTER CITY – The Water and Sewerage Committee applied for Ernest Harrison (36) married, with four children, boiler stoker at the Waterworks. He was previously rejected and was now passed B1. Mr W Sharpe said that they were running three shifts and it was necessary to have a stoker for each shift. The other two were over military age. It was suggested that they got another man, but Mr Sharpe said they had tried and failed. Conditional until a substitute found.
