16th September 1917 - Award Ceremony

War Front:
2nd Batt: At 6.30am the Batt marched to Steenevoorde via Cassel and arrived at billets at 12 noon.
4th Batt: Batt left Herteele at 10.40am and marched back via Houtkerque to Piccadilly Camp.
2/7th Batt: Church Parade and Award Ceremony when Military medals went to Ptes T Ashman, W Davies, N Andrews,WH Mapp and J Lester.
2/8th Batt: Church Parade am. Pte C Griffiths was awarded the Military Medal.
10th Batt: There was a practice attack for men taking part in the forthcoming operation. A working party of 25 men were detonating bombs. A draft of 57 other ranks joined.
