Pershore Pig Keeper’s Association - The annual general meeting of this Association was held at the Plough Inn. The secretary presented a very satisfactory statement of accounts for the year. This showed that there had been a gain in the funds of £9 for the year, now making a total of £59; of this amount £35 had been invested in War loans. Owing to the increase in the price of feeding stuff and in the cost of pigs, the number of pigs insured had slightly decreased leaving a total of 58.
