3rd October 1915 - National recruiting rally in Worcester

2nd Batt A 'very unpleasant' day. The extent of the enemy's shelling hit the position very heavily. 3rd Batt fired under special permission at a working party.

Convalescent home for Belgian soldiers. Concert in Theatre Royal, Worcester (kindly lent by Mr Arthur Carlton) Belgian and English artists. Sunday evening 8.15 - 9.45.

Today's imperative call. The National recruiting rally.

Worcester's appeal for menhood of England is today being called to answer the summons for more and more men and Worcester is taking its part.
