Kidderminster Sgt death - Sgt Alfred Brown 2nd Worcs has died in action at the Dardanelles. He served for 17 years with 2nd Worcs and had fought in the South African War. He leaves a widow and one child. Lt Col G J Farmar has been granted a Battalion Commander in the Worc Reg. Served for over 23 years in the army. Malvern Education Committee has held a discussion concerning the bad effect of school treats on school attendance. Funeral of boy scout TJ Sadler has taken place in Malvern Link and was attended by 1st/2nd Malvern Scout Troops.
