1st Batt: Relieved in the evening about 7pm by 2nd Northamptons. Same as 7th March;

2nd Batt: A quiet day. German sniping position in front of our left Company badly damaged by 113rd Batt. RFA. ‘C’ and ‘D’ Coys relieved ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the firing line;

3rd Batt: In billets at Locre ;

Worcester City and County Nursing Association (in affiliation with Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Institute for Nurses) – The Earl of Coventry, the Patron, will preside at the Annual Meeting of the above Assocation, to be held at the Guildhall, on Saturday, March 6th, 1915, at 3 pm. All who are interested in Nursing are invited to attend. Tea and Coffee 4 to 5 pm;

Wanted for Service in France: Saddlers and Harness Makers. Pay 5s a day and separation allowance for wives. Age 19 to 45 years. Glasses may be worn. Full particulars from recruiting sergeants at: Worcester, Norton Barracks;

Accident to Worcester Boy: This morning, Frederick Thomasson, a boy aged six, of 1, Little Charles Street, was crossing the street by the Market Hall, when he was knocked down by a motor-car, belonging to Dr. Heffernan of Kempsey. The wheels of the car passed over the child’s body. He was taken into the Guildhall, and was attended to by Dr. Heffernan, and then conveyed by him in his car to the Infirmary. The boy sustained a broken right leg and a grazed face;

Worcestershire Recruits’ Departure: About 42 recruits for various regiments, enlisted at the Guildhall Recruiting Office, 42 High Street, paraded in front of the Guildhall this morning, and marched to Shrub Hill. At the Guildhall, Capt. Green, the Recruiting Officer, addressed the men. The band of the Worcestershire Yeomanry (under Bandmaster Greaves) played outside the Guildhall, and accompanied the men to the station. A large crowd assembled, and gave them a hearty send-off.
