from the frontlines for injured soldiers sent to recover at Hartlebury Castle Hospital. Piece together the journeys of the ill and injured from the battlefield to ‘Blighty’ and back again. Meet the determined Worcestershire women who nursed them back to health.
Part of the Worcestershire World War One Hundred project, funded by Heritage Lottery Fund.
